Mandatory Professional Standards Training
Please note the time change for the August 1st class
The next session of the biennial Professional Standards Training as mandated by your local board, will be held in Marshfield on Friday, August 1 at the Clearwater Hotel starting at 1:00 p.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. Upon receiving input from those who attended the first session in Stevens Point, the length of the class has been shortened to two hours. This training must be completed by all CWBR members by December 21, 2010. The November session has been rescheduled from Wisconsin Rapids to the CWBR office in Mosinee with 3 sessions starting at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2 p.m.
Do not confuse the Professional Standards Training with the Quadrennial Ethics Training which is mandated by the National Association of REALTORS® The Ethics Training requirement must be satisfied every four years (the current quadrennial period is 2004-2008) in one of these three methods:
1. Complete the online course through the NAR website.
2. Completing Continuing Education 4A—distance learning or classroom—sponsored by the WRA.
3. Attending the CWBR Orientation Program for new members.
